Apple School Manager: iPads for schools
Apple School Manager is the counterpart to Apple Business Manager for schools and educational institutions. Schools use it free of charge to manage devices, apps and books as well as teacher and student accounts.
What the school gets
Automatic accounts: student and teacher accounts can be synced from Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace.
iPads reduced to the essentials: through MDM the school can for example block the App Store. Students then cannot download or buy apps themselves. Only the apps the school approves are allowed, and for exams even just a single app.
One iPad for several students: with Shared iPad every student signs in with their own account. This requires supervised devices with at least 32 GB of storage.
In class: with the Classroom app, teachers can for example lock the class iPads to one app.
How we do it
We deliver iPads already enrolled, on request with keyboard cases from Inateck and protection from 4smarts, and support system integrators with tenders. Project pricing on request.
