Apple Business Manager explained simply
Apple Business is Apple’s free platform that lets companies manage their iPhones, iPads and Macs in one place. Until April 2026 it was called Apple Business Manager, or ABM for short. Since 14.04.2026 Apple has merged it with Business Essentials and Business Connect into “Apple Business”. Most people still say Apple Business Manager.
What does your customer get?
All company devices, apps and employee accounts in one place. Device management is already built in for free, more on that under Mobile Device Management. Devices bought through an authorised reseller appear in the account automatically, handled by the Device Enrollment Program.
Who needs an account?
Any company that wants to manage company devices centrally, from small businesses to corporations. One person signs up on behalf of the company, and Apple verifies the organisation, for example using a D-U-N-S number or company documents. Schools use the counterpart Apple School Manager.
How we do it
We help your customer set up the account and make sure the devices you sell through us are already in it on delivery.
